I recently went to another trip to Manila and this time my flight departs at Changi Terminal 2 station. Unlike the Budget Terminal, T2 has more dining and shopping options. I’m especially amazed by the Duty Free offerings where travelers could purchase perfume, alcohol, and cigars at cheap rates. It is a good way to kill time especially when the gate is not yet open.
It’s the SEA Games season again and everyone is rooting for their own teams. The biennial multi-sport event involves participants from the 11 SEA coutries. Shuttlecocks, balls, riding boots, and rackets…athletes accompanied by their coaches..these are the common sights during the SEA Games season. Interestingly, news channels from each countries hold special telecasts and news reports on the game. Anyone can cheer for their home teams even at the comfort of their own homes.

What to do, what to do. These days have been full of munchies since we got an oven (for free) from our friendly neighbour. Must I get myself a flex tube to pull and strengthen my muscles? Do I need to get my gym shoes again from its dusty place and try to get some form of exercise? Life is so unfair.
In Manila, the 1st of November is a very busy month because of the All Soul’s Day holiday. It has been a tradition for families to return to their home towns to visit the graves of loved ones. Given this, heavy flow of traffic is expected and precautionary measures are always taken by everyone. The government do their part by providing roadside assistance and dispatching additional teams to secure different locations in the country.
Good thing there’s Ikea here so I could buy furnitures or house accessories at a relatively affordable prize. I currently reside in an HDB unit and although it already came furnished, here are some items that I wish to buy:
- set of knives
- set of pots and pans
- step stool so I could easily reach my kitchen cabinet
- vacuum cleaner
I wonder what makes a good husband gift? I’m not yet married, just to make it clear. But I find it really hard (and costly too!) to determine gifts for men. Gifts for women are very easy to find especially if you’re on a budget. You could just easily get an accessories for a few bucks, wrap it, and give it to the person. Oh well!
It seems like there’s an IT show every quarter here in SG. I guess it’s inevitable since people here are into gadgets since they have a high buying power. Popular products offered during the 3-day show includes laptop and notebooks, accessories such as eee tablet dock, mobile phones, passport drives, xbox games, cameras, and appliances. I’ll probably buy another HDD if I found one that’s real cheap!
I’m a fan of Getglue website basically for the stickers! I just ordered my first batch and I just created a 2nd account so I could already have the stickers that I want. Anyway, one of the stickers I recently earned was that of Kim Kardsahians wedding. I get to see their reality series sometimes when I tune in to Star World but I’m not really a fan of her. I’m pretty sure that she had a very expensive wedding..i wonder how her bachelorette party invitations looked like considering she’s a party girl?
I’m not the type of girl who’s in to shopping, diamond ring, and high-fashion. What I consider leisure would be travelling and experiencing the culture of other nations. My top destination has always been Amsterdam since I know I would have lots of fun there. But since I’ve been watching Three Sheets lately, I added another place in my list and it’s Belgium…home of Destiny Cafe!
It’s almost Christmas but for the past few days, airlines had announce their flight promotions for next year’s travel period…most of which are scheduled during the summer break! I’m so interested to book tickets to popular vacation destinations such as Phuket, Bali, and Kota Kinabalu. I haven’t made a final decision yet but I’m definitely sure I’ll be needing beach stuff such as swim suits, sun block lotion, and maybe even an underwater scuba mask!
So happy that I was able to catch the Charles & Keith Warehouse sale the other day! Shoes where selling at $9 A PAIR and I just had to get my hands on every size 38 designs that caught my attention. Total damage was $130 but it was definitely worth it…brought home 11 pairs of shoes! Woot!!!

Good news: I already lost around 10 lbs.
Bad news: I easily regained them.
Ugh. It took me around 4 weeks to lose weight and a week to regain them. It’s very annoying, depressing, and bothering. Still, I’m still persistent to shed these unwanted weight so I’m on the look out for the best diet pills around. Or I could just get my lazy ass to exercise and that would also work. :)
It’s already September and the holiday season is already near! This means that Christmas shopping is inevitable, whether you love it or hate it. Most people are already jotting down their shopping lists to rid of all the hassles during the holiday rush. Clothes, Toys, Perfumes, customized food and even garden gifts are present on the list. What will you put on yours?
