PERSONAL:

There are lot of things bugging me lately: work pressures, missing my family and friends, missing my mamao….which is why I recently find it very hard to sleep. I usually come home at around 8pm, prepare dinner, and watch movies to relax me for a while. It’s weird how I feel sleepy but I can’t seem to shut my eyes. I’m afraid that if this continues on, I’ll be having puffy and dark eyes which would require me to use weird stuff like oxytoxin type 2 to eliminate. I wish I bought my GNC melatonine pills with me!

PERSONAL:

I’m a huge fan of Grey’s Anatomy because I find it intellectual, witty, and somehow romantic. My favorite couple is Izzie and George because I like how they started out as bestfriends before they had a relationship. Sad though that both of them had to leave the show! Anyway, another interesting character is Miranda Bailey, better known as The Nazi among the residents and intern. She’s the chief resident who is respected and feared by many. I find it cute that she uses medical step stool during operations because she’s a small doctor. But her intelligence and craft in surgery compensates for her height. Season 7 is almost over and I can’t wait to have another Grey’s anatomy marathon!

Remember last time when I wrote about beer prices here in SG? Well, let’s add cigarette to the list of overly-expensive things
here in Singapore. My two best friends are now here to visit me for the weekend. Cha, who is a smoker, cleverly forgot to buy
extra packs of smoke in Manila. It costs waaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper in the PH, around 1/7 of the ones that they sell here. She
wanted to buy an 8SGD pack but I told her that it might just be some cheap backwoods cigars. Hahahaha! Good thing I don’t
smoke!

PERSONAL:
The other day, I was watching Rated K at TFC and there was a feature about persons who are willing to spend a lot for their
pets. I remember the segment about this lady who owns 4 horses for her equestrian games. She shared that she spends at least
100USD a day per horse to maintain the horses’ health and appearance. I wonder how much she spends for her equestrian riding
apparel
and equipment if she could spend that much for her horses? Life is indeed unfair.

PERSONAL:
As most of you know, I really dream of reaching Amsterdam before I turn 30. I hope that this dream would finally come true
within the year or early next year when my schengen visa is finally approved.  My bestfriend and I already discussed this and we’re already drafting our Europe route! I could now imagine myself carrying around a huge travellers backpack, a kelty salida 2 tent, and a dslr camera around my neck!

From what I’ve been seeing in various billboards and signages within the city, it’s already the season where dengue fever is
very rampant. Good thing I bought an insurance plan when I opened a bank account last month because it would cover my medical
expenses if and when I’ll be struck by dengue fever. However, I received my insurance plan the other day and saw that it had
incorrect details on it. I was very disappointed with what happened because what if I get dengue anytime soon? I don’t want to
blow off my savings to hospital bills! Social Security disability, ugh. I immediately called up the insurance provider and
demanded that they revised my plan asap. I’m still waiting for the revised document to arrive. I’m hoping that I won’t get
sick before then!
